1. All or Nothing: Sr. Clare Crockett (2018)

I just recently found this movie, and I think that Sister Clare Crockett may be declared a Saint one day soon. I 100% recommend watching this movie! Sr. Clare’s story is so relatable as she goes from being a successful and talented actress living the party lifestyle to a selfless, joyful, and “all-in” Religious Sister in love with Jesus. You can watch the movie here or find it free on YouTube.

2. For Love Alone (2015)

This movie features many Religious Orders for women in the United States (although some of these orders have international convents), and highlights many individual Sisters’ stories. For Love Alone (2015) is captivating and will reignite your desire to be a Religious Sister. Again, I 100% recommend this movie at any stage in your discernment. The trailer is linked above and is free on YouTube, however, the full movie is available for purchase only. The most affordable price I found was on Amazon or you can download it on Google Play or iTunes.

3. Mother Teresa (2003)

Everyone loves a good Mother Teresa movie, right? Or should I say, Saint Teresa of Calcutta? (Shout-out to my patron Saint!) It is everything you could want and more. And yes, if you were wondering, there are Missionaries of Charity in the United States. Mother Teresa (2003) is free on YouTube and available on Amazon Prime.

4. Light of Love (2013)

Light of Love is another Religious Life compilation movie highlighting 5 different Religious Orders for women. It follows a day in the life of five women from different Religious Orders, and shares their charism with us. This movie provides a few different perspectives and is definitely worth watching. This movie is free to watch on YouTube.

5. Fatima (2020)

After watching the trailer, you might think, how did this not make number 1 or at least number 2? Fatima (2020) made the list because Lucia grew up to be a Religious Sister, however, it doesn’t have a focus on Religious Life specifically, so I ranked it as number 5. I was blessed to be able to rent it and watch it with my family, but this would be great for a watch party with friends, fellow discerners, or by yourself by setting aside a little money for a week or so. It can be rented on Amazon Prime, YouTube, or in various other locations. The power of this movie is indescribable.

Is there another movie you think should have made the “Top 5”? Leave it in a comment below so we can check it out! God Bless and I hope you enjoy your movie night!
